She
specializes in women’s,
couples and youth sailing programs. She
worked as a captain with the Boy Scouts
of America for ten years
in their live aboard sailing adventure program (Florida National
High Adventure Sea Base) and has lived aboard her own boat for 12
years. She has been featured in different articles and magazines
including Latitude and Attitude, La Vie Claire, Waterfront
News, Bearings and is also featured in a coffee table book called Women
and the Sea.
Jenn has extensive coastal and blue-water sailing experience, including
an Atlantic Ocean crossing in 2006. She has also sailed in the Chesapeake
Bay, the Bahamas and the Caribbean. Jenn is fluent in French, English,
and Spanish and enjoys singing and playing guitar.

CAPTAIN JEFF RIECKS
Captain
Jeff Riecks is a certified ASA instructor and currently holds
a US Coast Guard 50-ton Near Coastal Master’s license
with Sailing and Towing Endorsements. He has been working as
a sailing educator and charter/private
yacht captain since
2001. Prior to becoming a professional mariner Jeff spent many
years in the corporate world as a mechanical engineer and manager
in the government electronics, computers and information technology
industries.
Jeff has taught basic, intermediate and advanced sailing and cruising
to hundreds of adults and children and received the “2005 Outstanding
Instructor” award from the American Sailing
Association. In
addition to sailing, Jeff enjoys playing acoustic guitar, reading,
and working on electro-mechanical boat systems.
CAPTAIN ANN BRAINARD & CAPTAIN BOB KRUK
Ann Brainard and Bob Kruk each have more than 25 years of sailing
experience. Over the past three years they have transitioned from
mainstream business careers to the sailing lifestyle - allowing them
to connect with nature and inspire people in positive ways. Ann and
Bob especially enjoy sharing their passion for sailing with couples
and families.
Captain Bob is a certified ASA instructor and currently holds a U.S.
Coast Guard 50 Ton Masters License with Sailing Endorsement. Bob
has been a small hardware business owner for 35 years and frequently
applies his knowledge to marine industry projects. In addition to
sailing, Bob enjoys hiking and rollerblading.
Captain Ann is a certified ASA instructor and currently holds a U.S.
Coast Guard 50 Ton Masters License with Sailing Endorsement. Previously
Ann was an educator for 30 years, teaching in public schools, colleges,
and universities, as well as the corporate workplace. Ann appreciates
the creative arts and loves all types of exercise, drawing, painting,
and playing the piano.
